Root Canal Treatment (RCT)

There are trillions of microorganisms residing in our mouths which attack our teeth and infect the pulp, mostly causing excruciating pain and inflammation. In order to relieve this sensation, a Root Canal Treatment, commonly known as “RCT”, is performed wherein the experienced dentist carefully removes the infected pulpal tissue from the tooth, so as to generate a germ-free environment inside the root canals. This procedure typically encompasses the sessions of removing the infection (pulpectomy), dressings, and then finally a filling (obturation) to seal the canal and inside of the tooth.
